Perth truck driver to face trial over fatal crash that killed mother of three
A Perth truck driver accused of causing a fatal crash in Forrestdale will face trial after pleading not guilty to manslaughter.
David Lawrence West, 46, allegedly ran a red light at the intersection of Armadale Road and Tonkin Highway on April 15 and ploughed into 55-year-old mother Moira Dunstall’s Mitsubishi Magna as she was turning.

Ms Dunstall died on impact, with her car dragged for hundreds of metres while pinned against the truck.
On Wednesday, Mr West entered a not guilty plea in the Stirling Gardens Magistrates Court after state prosecutor James McTaggart indicated the state would not be accepting a guilty plea to a lesser charge.
