Tilbury2 offers new unaccompanied freight terminal service


Forth Ports has launched an unaccompanied freight ferry terminal at Tilbury2 following a successful trial earlier this month. The 500,000-unit freight-only facility terminal uses a truck driver-free operation into the UK which port authorities say will help reduce the spread of Covid-19. The service will operate in partnership with P&O Ferries.

The first ship to use the fully operational terminal was P&O's chartered freight ferry the Norstream.
