Watch: Trio of alleged illegal immigrants jump out of lorry at DPD depot in Oldbury

Shocking footage has captured the moment three alleged illegal immigrants jumped out the back of a lorry at a DPD depot in Oldbury. A man wearing a striped jumper is the first to be seen clambering from the HGV, using the door and the side of the vehicle to negotiate his way out. Two more men quickly follow – as can be seen in the clip above – jumping out of the vehicle while stunned workers look on.

The trio then casually stroll off – but were quickly arrested.

Three men have been arrested for immigration offences following an incident at the DPD depot in Oldbury

The incident happened at the depot in Broadwell Road on Wednesday evening (June 24). Three men have been arrested on suspicion of immigration offences and remain in police custody. Black Country Live has contacted DPD for comment.


A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: “Three men aged 31 and two 26-year-olds were arrested on suspicion of immigration offences after officers were called to Broadwell Road, Oldbury yesterday (June 24) to reports a group of people were seen to climb out of a lorry.

They remain in custody today (June 25).”
