Man in his 20s dies after crash between car and lorry

A man in his 20s has died after his car crashed with an HGV that was carrying poultry. The crash took place on the A153, Leasingham Moor, Sleaford just after 8.45am on Thursday, August 27. It involved a heavy goods vehicle which was transporting live poultry and a white Vauxhall Corsa.

An air ambulance, fire and police crews were all dispatched to the scene.

The driver of the Vauxhall Corsa has died as a result of his injuries, police announced today, Friday, August 28. The driver of the HGV was not injured in the collision.

A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police said: “We can confirm the man in his 20s who was driving the Corsa has sadly died. “We are continuing to appeal for any witnesses who may have been in the area at around the time the collision occurred or anyone with dashcam footage to contact us.”
