Police update on tragic death of biker Steven Taylor, 25

South Yorkshire Police are appealing for people who witnessed a fatal crash in Rotherham to come forward. Steven Taylor, 25, was killed on June 24 when his motorbike crashed with a pickup truck in Thrybergh. The crash happened at around 3.50pm, when Steven was travelling down Carr Lane in the direction of Kilnhurt, on his black Honda bike.

He crashed with a grey Nissan Navara pickup truck which had been travelling in the opposite direction. Steven was taken to hospital with serious head injuries but sadly died the following day (June 25).

South Yorkshire Police have said the investigation into the crash continues and they are interested in speaking with anyone who witnessed it. They are particularly keen to speak to a number of people who were at the scene, including a woman they believe to be a district nurse.

They said: “We are eager to speak to woman we believe to be a district nurse, and two other men who were present at the scene after the collision.
