Vauxhall Corsa driver seriously injured after crash with lorry

A driver of a white Vauxhall Corsa has been seriously injured after a crash with a lorry, police have revealed. The motorist was involved in a collision with the HGV, which was transporting live poultry, on the junction of the A153 and Moor Lane at Leasingham near Sleaford just after 8.45am this morning, Thursday, August 27. Police, ambulance crews, firefighters and an air ambulance were all deployed to the scene.

The force has revealed that the driver of the lorry was unhurt. Officers are investigating the incident and have asked for any witnesses to come forward.

A statement from Lincolnshire Police read: “This is a serious RTC. “We are appealing for anyone or saw either vehicle who has dash cam footage of the white Vauxhall Corsa, which travelled along Moor Lane to the junction of the B1209 or the HGV, which was travelling along the A153 towards Ruskington, to contact the investigation team.”
