Buckden St Neots news: Live updates as massive police presence spotted near village shop

A large police presence has been spotted outside a shop and some flats in a Cambridgeshire village today (September 13). About five police cars and three vans were seen in the car park of the Nisa shop in Hunts End in Buckden, St Neots, Cambridgeshire. A police spokesman said that just after 3pm officers identified a vehicle that they wanted to stop.

The vehicle failed to stop and rolled into another vehicle, which someone reported to police. A short distance away officers located four people they believe are involved in the failure to stop incident. They are in custody and are currently being interviewed in relation to the matter.

A witness said they saw a truck drive up on the pavement near the shop and one man run away. Another man was handcuffed by police, according to the witness. The shop is not related to the investigation.
