New Food Business opens in New Lebanon

New Food Business opens in New Lebanon NEW LABANON — If grilled cheese sandwiches, homemade soups and beef brisket chili make your mouth water, then be sure to check out CHILLINGRILLINCHEEZ at the Roaring 20’s in New Lebanon, NY. New Lebanon high school graduates Allen Phelps (1984) and Adam Peterson (1992) have partnered up to offer affordable and socially distanced dining at the intersection of routes 20 & 22.

The truck features several cheezy options including fresh cut fries topped with a homemade cheezy brew sauce, chicken, and bacon. The menu specializes in grilled cheese sandwich options ranging from a Classic Grilled Cheese with cheddar, American and Monterey Jack cheeses, the popular Bacon and Tomato melted with Cheddar and Jack, and the gourmet Mama’s Little Goat which is a blend of Provolone, Goat Cheese, Baby Kale, Spinach, Sweet and Spicey Peppers on a Grilled Multi-Grain Bread. The truck also features a vegan homemade Tomato Basil Bisque and a homemade Beef Brisket Chili served in a bread bowl with jalapenos, cheezy brew sauce, and sour cream with chives.

There are also gluten free bread options where you can create your own cheezy delight with locally grown fruits and vegetables. Allen, the producing artistic director of The Theater Barn and a retired high school English and Theater teacher, joins Adam Peterson, a 25 year professional electrician, to establish the newest rave in food service during these unprecedented times when restaurants cannot meet the public need for dining options. Their collaboration with the newest upcoming brewery in Columbia County, the Roaring 20’s Brewery & Taphouse, makes for a relaxing dining experience in the historic and beautiful Lebanon Valley.

The food truck will also be making appearances in Berkshire county and other breweries and wineries throughout Columbia County. Committed to using as many local products and supporting the region’s farms, is a big part of the truck’s mission statement. Products like locally produced maple products, organic fruits and vegetables, organic meats and fresh baked breads and desserts are only some of the freshest ingredients available to you when dining with ChillinGrillinCheez.

Check out this fabulously cheezy menu over the Labor Day weekend at the brewery in New Lebanon on Friday 9/4 from 4 to 8pm, Saturday 9/5 from 1 to 8pm and Sunday 9/6 from 1 to 5pm.

Come out and relax with some chillin’ classic music from the decades, and try New Lebanon’s newest outside grillin’ business, while enjoying a fresh cold beverage from the valley’s only brew master.

Phelps and Patterson promise that they “Will stop the world and Melt with you!” Check out the menus and where the food truck will be next at chillingrillincheez.com, Facebook and Instagram.
