Police called to tow away broken down AA tow truck on M5

Probably the AA. But when you’re the AA and you break down, you need Avon and Somerset Police. Police discovered this AA tow truck broken down on the M5 yesterday (Monday) afternoon.

It was causing problems for other motorists as it was stuck in lane two of the M5 at Cribbs Causeway.

Police came to the rescue in their BMW X5 and towed away the tow truck.

An Avon and Somerset Police spokesman said: “Thanks to all for their patience whilst the traffic was held for a short time.”
