Huntingdon Ring Road crash: Important police update after crash kills cyclist in town centre

Police have issued an update after a cyclist was killed in a crash in Huntingdon yesterday (October 20). Cambridgeshire Constabulary have said the force are now appealing to the public for information after the fatal collision on Tuesday afternoon. The accident, which involved a white Volkswagen Passat and a cyclist, occurred on Nursery Road, Huntingdon, close to the Sainsbury’s supermarket, just before 2.30pm yesterday.

Emergency services, including a Magpas air ambulance, attended shortly after, but despite their best efforts, the cyclist died at the scene.

The driver of the car was uninjured and remained at the scene after the crash. No arrests have been made. Police are now looking to speak with anyone who witnesses the collision.
