Pennywell Road crash: Police and ambulance race to scene after Edinburgh man and woman hit by car

A man and a woman have been hit by a vehicle in a crash on Pennywell Road in the Muirhouse area of Edinburgh. Police vehicles and ambulances raced to the scene at around 3.15pm today and the road has been closed. A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We received a report of a road traffic crash involving a car and two pedestrians, a male and a female, on Pennywell Road, Edinburgh, around 3.15pm on Wednesday, 7 October, 2020.

“Officers and the ambulance service are in attendance and the road is currently closed.”
