Man taken to hospital and road blocked after three-car crash on busy Lincolnshire road

A man has been taken to hospital after a crash on a busy road on the outskirts of Lincoln. Emergency crews were still at the scene at around 3pm on Monday, November 2 after a three-vehicle crash on Wragby Road. A man was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police said: “Incident 174 of November 2 which was reported at 11.55am refers to road traffic collision on the A158 at the junction of Kennel Lane. “The road was blocked by the collision which involved 3 vehicles, a yellow Fiat 500, a green Vauxhall Zafira and a white Ford Focus. “One man has been taken to hospital with minor injuries.”

According to the traffic and travel alert system Inrix, the A158 Wragby Road East in both directions is partially blocked, with slow traffic due to accident near to the Nettleham turn off.

It is affecting traffic between Lincoln and Langworth.
