Motorcyclist killed in crash with recovery truck in Rainham

A man has died after his motobike was involved in a collision with a recovery truck. Police were called at 2.57pm on Thursday (November 19) following the crash on Otterham Quay Lane in Rainham. The motorcyclist, a 25-year-old man from Lambeth in South London, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The road was closed for more than six hours after the incident. South East Coast Ambulance Service and Kent, Surrey, Sussex Air Ambulance also attended.
Police are now appealing for witnesses to the collision, or anyone who may have CCTV or dashcam footage, to come forward.
