Truck had 'worst insecure load' which could have fallen off at any moment in Burton

A flat-bed truck branded one of the “worst insecure loads” has been spotted by police in a Burton street. Its driver also did not have a licence or insurance when they were stopped by officers. The blue truck was loaded to overflowing with bin liners full of rubbish and plastic green items and nothing had been secured down – so it could have fallen out at any moment, causing a danger to passing traffic.

Officers from Staffordshire police Road Policing Unit spotted the truck in a Burton residential street. When inspecting the vehicle, officers also spotted that the truck had a bald tyre. This is how to get your newspaper delivered to your front door:

Police have now reported the truck driver for multiple offences, they said. The incident happened on Saturday, November 7, in the early evening. A spokesman for the policing team said: “This was stopped in the Burton area for one of the worst insecure loads this week.

That along with a bald tyre, no insurance and no licence.

“The driver has been reported for multiple offences.”
