Emergency crews seal off Perth road as van barrels into house in horror crash

EMERGENCY crews have swooped on a Perth road after a van smashed into a house. Police, fire and ambulance crews are in attendance on Strathallan Bank after the vehicle struck a house in Forgandenny.

Fire crews were alerted to the incident just before 5pm with mercy crews seen heading towards the scene. It’s understood diversions have been put in place with a road block in effect as emergency services attend the incident.

It’s not known if there are any injuries as a result of the smash.

Scottish Fire and Rescue spokesperson confirmed two appliances remain at the scene. A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 5.15pm on Monday, 11 January, officers were called to a road crash where a van has struck a house on the B935, Forgandenny.   “Emergency services are at the scene.”
