A142 Chatteris crash: Motorcyclist rushed to hospital after serious accident

A motorcyclist has suffered serious injuries after a crash on a country road in Cambridgeshire. Police were called to reports of a collision between a car and a motorbike on Langwood Hill Drove, Chatteris at 5.52pm yesterday (February 21). Officers and ambulance crews attended the incident and the motorbike rider was rushed to Addenbrooke’s Hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the car was uninjured. The A142 from Chatteris to Mepal was closed at the Langwood Road junction for around five hours as the vehicles were recovered from the scene.
