Message from police after driver crashes into ditch

Police have a message for drivers after a car was left lopsided in a ditch. The abandoned vehicle appears to be a grey Mitsubishi Warrior hanging halfway off an undisclosed Gloucestershire country lane into a hedge. The Mitsubishi appears to have been abandoned by the driver, who left it after a crash.

Gloucestershire police said they will be paying the registered owner of the car a visit today (March 28) to find out what happened. The four-wheel-drive compact pickup truck was pictured surrounded by traffic cones, to make sure passing drivers see the hazard in the road whilst police wait for road recovery to tow it away. Police officers made an example of the driver on social media.
