Cornwall planning applications: week ending April 25

Various planning applications were validated by Cornwall Council and associated documents can be viewed online on the council’s planning portal.   You can search for search for planning applications, decisions, appeals and enforcements by keyword, application reference, postcode or by a single line of an address. There were lots of applications so the list has been split into three separate articles.

Part two of planning applications validated between Monday, April 19 and 25 can be found below:

  • 4A Chapel Street, St Ives TR26 2LR: Conversion of ground floor retail space into a self contained flat.
  • 21 Dunstanville Terrace, Falmouth TR11 2SW: Proposed rebuilding of substandard link and alterations to rear cottage.
  • 21 Basset Road, Camborne TR14 8SH: Tree works.
  • Endean Farm Road from Albany Close to Endean Farm, Goonown, St Agnes TR5 0LE: The partial demolition of the old poorly constructed extensions that surround the farmhouse, and to replace with new extensions along with internal refurbishment to turn Endean Farm in to a suitable family home.
  • Reeds House, Northcott Mouth Road, Poughill, Bude, Cornwall EX23 9EL: Works to trees in a conservation area.
  • 82 Fore Street, Redruth, Cornwall TR15 2BL: Prior approval for the change of use from A1 (retail) to mixed use of A1 (retail) for the ground and first floor (no change of use), and A5 for the top floor (a change of use) for use as a vegan takeaway.
  • 34 Lemon Hill, Mylor Bridge, Falmouth, Cornwall TR11 5NA: Works to trees in a conservation area.
  • The Waldrons, Norway Lane, Perranarworthal TR3 7NU: Tree works.
  • Azime Court, Rock Road, Rock, Wadebridge PL27 6NW: Alterations to existing garage building to provide first floor residential accommodation and associated rationalisation of rear parking area.
  • Trevoyan Farm House, St Merryn, Padstow PL28 8PP: Proposed amendment to the location and design of one of the permitted holiday units.
  • Heather View, Fore Street, St Cleer, Liskeard, Cornwall PL14 5DA: Outline application for replacement of existing mundic bungalow with a dwelling with all matters reserved.
  • Trelymner, Barbican Road, East Looe, Looe, Cornwall PL13 1EU: Front and rear extension. New garage. Amendments to doors and windows.
  • 8 Tinners Way, New Polzeath, Wadebridge PL27 6UH: First floor extension to the existing bungalow.

    Demolition of existing flat roof garage and link porch. Additional changes including roof tiles from red stone tiles to grey slate as well as changing the colour of the external render and window frames.

  • Worthy Vale Barn, Silverwell, Blackwater, Truro, Cornwall TR4 8JD: Demolish existing garage/store room and replace with new annexe.
  • RS Berry Autospray Bodyworks, 1 Coach Lane, Redruth, Cornwall TR15 2TP: Replacement vehicle sprayshop (amended design) with variation of condition 3 of decision notice PA08/00864/F.
  • 9 Hanson Road, Liskeard, Cornwall PL14 3NT: First floor extension over existing garage.
  • Plot 50 land adjacent to number 46 Gurnick Road, Newlyn, Cornwall TR18 5DG: Reserved matters application for appearance, landscaping, layout and scale following outline permission PA17/11908 for construction of three houses including associated works and access drive.

  • 1 South Carne Road from junction northeast of Tresmeake to Trekennick, Altarnun, Launceston PL15 7SG: Agricultural building to cover existing outside yard area.
  • Sanders Fish And Chips, 5 Chapel Terrace, Hayle, Cornwall TR27 4AB: Construction of new dwelling and alterations to store rooms.
  • 31 St Annes Road, Newquay TR7 2SA: New off street parking using a gravelled area of garden.
  • Tomphanny Barn, Tregellist Road, St Kew, Bodmin PL30 3HG: Creation of extension and porch to main house. Creation of new door to ancillary building.
  • Huckleberry Cottage, Lane, Newquay TR8 4PX: Variation of condition 2 (approved plans) for plot 1 of application PA19/03743: Construction of six residential dwellings comprising demolition and replacement of one dwelling and five new dwellings.
  • Rising Sun Hotel, The Square, St Mawes TR2 5DJ: Certificate of lawfulness for existing use which was granted under PA18/01101 for a new staff accommodation block with storage for the improved functionality of the pub.
  • Land southeast of Gews Farm, Bethany Place, St Just, Cornwall: Change of use of agricultural building to cold store
  • 24 Churchtown Close, Roche, St Austell, Cornwall PL26 8FQ: Construction of a garage.
  • Spring Cottage Road from the A39 To Riverside Villas Truck House and Spring Cottage north side of Truck Hill, Truck, Probus TR2 4JA: Works to trees subject to a tree preservation order (TPO).
  • Central Garage, 3 New Road, Port Isaac, Cornwall PL29 3SB: Proposed re-development of former Central Garage site to provide a commercial development of three holiday apartments and undercover and secure parking.
  • Vogue Farm, Pink Moors, St Day TR16 5NL: Outline planning permission for construction of self build dwelling for family member.
  • 26 Lords Meadow, Tregony TR2 5RZ: Works to trees in a conservation area.
  • Roseland School, Tregony, Truro, Cornwall TR2 5SE: Installation of new fire escape door and construction of new external steps and footpath to provide Building Regulation compliant fire escape route.
  • Land south of Luces Tenement, Broad Lane, Trematon, Cornwall PL12 4RU: Reserved matters application covering access, layout and landscaping.
