Family's tribute to 'one in a million' dad-of-two killed in crash on A361

An emotional tribute has been paid to the “one in a million” dad-of-two who was killed after a crash involving a van, HGV and 4×4. Ewen Lever, from Swindon, died after the crash on the A361 at Signet, near Burford in Oxfordshire on December 9, 2020. Mr Lever, who had been driving the van, was confirmed dead by police at the scene and the inquest into his death has now concluded.

The coroner concluded he died as the result of a road traffic collision. A tribute from his widow, Abby, has now been released describing him as “one in a million” and saying that he had “left the biggest hole in all our lives”. It said: “Ewen was the most amazing husband and daddy, to me and our girls, Ayla and Poppy. “He has left the biggest hole in all of our lives. “Everyone who had the honour of knowing Ewen will forever miss his loud, cheeky voice and his huge kind heart.

“I have been so grateful for all the support I have been given over the last four months.

“Ewen’s legacy will live on amongst us all.

“My husband, our world, our rock, really is ‘one in a million’.”
