HGV driver failed to stop after crash left motorcyclist with ‘life-changing injuries’

THE driver of a white HGV failed to stop after a crash which has left a motorcyclist with ‘life-changing injuries’. At about 10.35pm on Friday, a motorbike and the HGV collided on the A420 eastbound at the Kingston Bagpuize junction with Pine Woods Road. The motorcyclist, a man in his twenties, suffered life-changing injuries and is currently in hospital.

The driver of the HGV failed to stop at the scene. Investigating officer, PC David Burleigh, of the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit, said: “This was a serious collision that has left a man with life-changing injuries. “I am appealing for anyone who may have witnessed this incident to please come forward.

“I’d also urge anyone travelling along this stretch of road at around 10.35pm on Friday to check any dash-cam footage you may have in case it has captured something that may assist with the investigation.
