See Bamburgh transformed into film set for new Indiana Jones movie

Hollywood legend Harrison Ford was spotted in the region as filming for Indiana Jones 5 gets underway in the North East Bamburgh Castle has been transformed into a Hollywood movie set this week as filming for Indiana Jones 5 commenced in the North East. Flags and banners covered the walls of Bamburgh Castle and eye-catching vehicles could be seen going into the grounds, including an old army truck and a replica SS motorbike.

And at one point flames could be seen from the famous landmark attracting a lot of attention from locals. Northumberland Fire and Rescue Service took to Facebook to assure people they were aware of the “controlled burning” and a “number of responsible people” were on site. Hollywood A-lister Harrison Ford has been spotted around the region, in including Newcastle’s Quayside and in Grosmont, North Yorkshire.

He was also photographed in North Shields earlier this week at local pub The Ship’s Cat.
