Cameramen recovering after 30ft fall from racecourse cherry picker

Two cameramen who fell from a cherry picker at Hamilton Park racecourse are expected to make a full recovery.

Robbie Cotgrave and Kit Campbell were seriously injured after falling 30ft while working for RaceTech.

The accident occurred about 200 yards from the finishing post during a rehearsal before live coverage at the Lanarkshire course.

Emergency services took both freelance camera operators to hospital for treatment on Tuesday.

It has emerged that both men have responded well to medical treatment and are in a stable condition after their fall on to the roof of a production truck.
