Lorry fire shut A14 near Cambridge

A section of the A14 in Cambridgeshire was shut following an incident this morning (August 5). The A14 westbound, just before J34 B1047 Horningsea Road, was shut for several hours. This was due to a lorry fire in the area, near Fen Ditton.

All traffic was being temporarily held from around 9.35am. Traffic was queuing up for some time, and surrounding roads were affected. The incident was along the section of the A14 near Fen Ditton, Horningsea, Stow cum Quy, Bottisham, and Teversham, east of Cambridge city, heading westbound.
