Man pinned between HGV and Range Rover

A man became pinned down between a parked Range Rover and a lorry after trying to direct the vehicle near a supermarket. Dorset Police said it was called to reports of an injury collision in Weymouth Avenue near to the Tesco supermarket in Dorchester at around 9.20am. The man, from Taunton, was said to have been directing a heavy goods vehicle and became entangled with the load.

Police Constable Donal Doyle of the traffic unit said: “I am appealing to anyone who was in the area at the relevant time and witnessed the incident to please contact Dorset Police. “I am also keen to hear from anyone who may have captured any of the incident on dashcam.” Anyone with information about these incidents is asked to contact Dorset Police, or email 101@dorset.pnn.police.uk or by calling 101, quoting occurrence number 55210140407.
