Dramatic pictures show lorry completely destroyed after M11 crash

Dramatic pictures show the complete mess left by a lorry destroyed when it left the M11 near London in the early hours. The goods lorry crashed and left the carriageway near Harlow at about 4.30am on Saturday. The M25 was initially closed southbound while emergency services worked at the scene.

According to Essex Roads Police team on Twitter, thankfully no-one was seriously injured in the crash. The account wrote: “Single vehicle RTC on the M11 has left only 2 lanes open between J7 (Harlow) and J6 (M25). This will be most of the day and may reduce to 1 lane for recovery work.”

The lorry left the M11 during the night

Though it is not clear exactly what the lorry was carrying, it seems like it may be a painstaking cleanup operation as debris has been left in a huge pile of mess on the verge of the motorway.

Drivers have been warned that there may be disruption throughout the day between the M25 and the M11 junctions.
