Lorry collides with six stationary cars

A lorry was involved in a collision with six cars in Bollington, causing damage to the vehicles and a house door. Cheshire police were called to Lord Street in Bollington, which is situated on the outskirts of Macclesfield, at around 9:41am today (Monday, September 13) after an HGV collided with the stationary vehicles. There were no injuries or casualties as a result of the incident, but the lorry and cars involved are currently being recovered from the scene.

A spokesperson of Cheshire Constabulary said: “At 9.41am this morning police were called to a collision involving a HGV and six stationary cars in Lord Street, Bollington. “The cars and the HGV are being recovered from the scene.

“One house door and door step was slightly damaged, no one was injured.”
