Police search for flat bed van after woman hurt in hit and run at traffic lights
A WOMAN was taken to hospital with neck and back injuries after she was involved in a hit and run crash. Cleveland Police have now issued an appeal for witnesses to the collision involving two vehicles in Stockton, on Wednesday, September 22. A crash happened at the traffic light junction on Bridge Road around 5.15pm on Wednesday, September 22 involving a white Audi and a white flat bed truck, which did not stop at the scene.
Officers believe the flat bed truck may have been a ’21’ plate. The female driver of the Audi was taken to hospital with neck and back pain. Any witnesses to the incident are asked to contact PC Lee Benson from the Cleveland and Durham Specialist Operations Unit on 101, quoting incident number 161367.
