600 jobs up for grabs at huge Yorkshire M&S warehouse

Hundreds of jobs have become available at Marks & Spencer’s Bradford distribution centre as the supermarket braces itself for a busy Christmas period. The firm has announced 600 permanent and temporary positions have opened up, with an immediate start date and flexible hours available. The jobs range from order pickers to forklift truck drivers and pay starts at GBP10.50 per hour or GBP12.08 for those working night shifts.

For more news on Marks & Spencer click here. New recruits will be based at Marks and Spencer’s (M&S) distribution centre (DC) on Newhall Way in Bradford which is operated by GXO Logistics. The centre is on the lookout for 300 people to work in the food side of the business.

The job will include preparing food products for shipment to one of the many M&S stores across the country.

And a further 300 jobs are now available in the clothing and home section with workers focusing on “picking and packing in a highly automated warehousing environment”. There is also the opportunity to take advantage of overtime and weekly bonus payments of GBP70 until January, 2022.
