Penally man fined after not having proper control of truck in Herefordshire

A MAN from Penally has been fined more than GBP200 for a driving offence involving a truck in Herefordshire. Robert Walker, of Holloway Court, Penally, was proved guilty under the Single Justice Procedure on September 30 at Hereford Justice Centre. The court heard that Walker, 74, was driving a DAF truck in such a position that he could not have proper control of the vehicle.

The incident took place at Tarrington on March 4. Walker was fined GBP220 and had six points added to his licence. He was also made to pay charges of GBP90 and a surcharge of GBP34.

Walker has until October 28 to pay the outstanding debt.
