Coca-Cola latest on Christmas truck tour

Coca-Cola are keeping their cards close to their chest as to where and when the Christmas truck tour will return to the UK. Fans were left ecstatic after it was confirmed that the bright red truck will hit the road soon after missing last year due to the coronavirus pandemic. It is expected to visit more than 40 locations around the UK from the end of November.

The majestic HGV has visited Exeter and Plymouth on previous tours. However, the full-schedule is being kept under wraps by Coca-Cola bosses and is yet to be announced.

After last year’s disappointment, Coca-Cola GB has been leaving cryptic responses on social media that all but tell Christmas fans news of its journey is imminent. In response to one woman tweeting: “Patiently waiting for the Christmas @CocaCola_GB truck tour to be announced…”

The drinks giant replied: “Keep your eyes on our socials…”

Replying to another post, Coca-Cola wrote: “We’re just recruiting the last of our reindeer…” Another concerned fan asked: “So not even a clue if it is coming back?” But Coca-Cola replied: “Holidays are coming…” with a Santa Claus emoji sure to send followers into a frenzy.

Other hints include the brand writing: “We’ve spoken to Santa and he seems pretty eager to us.”

And Coca-Cola still isn’t giving much away, with a spokesperson confirming they are ‘still working their magic on this year’s plans’.

They said: “We are still working our magic on this year’s Christmas plans and can’t share the details with you just yet. ”
