Coca-Cola Christmas truck to visit location less than an hour from Sussex

The iconic Coca-Cola Christmas truck tour is set to visit a shopping centre less than an hour from Sussex. The magical, festive truck has not yet visited Sussex on its 2021 tour of the UK, and it is not clear if it will as locations for the vehicle to visit are not released until days before the event. However, those in parts of Kent may be able to travel a short distance to catch a sight of the dazzling truck as it is set to visit a shopping centre this week.

: The Christmas markets still taking place across Sussex The truck will visit Bluewater shopping centre in Kent on December 15 and 16, which is less than an hour from a number of places in Sussex, mostly those in the north east of the county. On both days, the truck will be there from between 11am and 8pm.

The shopping centre is easily accessible from the M25, which in turn is easily accessible via a number of Sussex routes including the M23, A23 and A22. The festive truck first appeared in Coca-Cola’s famous ‘Holidays Are Coming’ advert 26 years ago and has been synonymous with Christmas ever since. This year, the tour is part of Cola-Cola’s Real Magic campaign, aiming to promote the message of “festive joy and inclusion”.

It’s there to remind those who catch a glimpse of the truck that real magic happens in moments of warmth and connection that we share with others.

Louise Maugest, Marketing Director at Coca-Cola Great Britain, said: “Coca-Cola has always been synonymous with Christmas, particularly the iconic Truck Tour.

“With the magic of Christmas needed now more than ever, we thought it was only right that we bring it back this year, safely and securely.

“The Coca-Cola Truck Tour has always been a moment to remind us of the importance of togetherness and community, something particularly prevalent during the festive season.
