Multiple emergency services attend car crash in Swanmore
FIRE, police and ambulance all attended Swanmore when a car collided with the back of a pickup truck. The incident happened near The Falcon pub at around 3.37pm today (Friday). The driver of the car, a 65-year-old woman, managed to get herself out of the vehicle, a spokesperson for the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service said.
They sent crews from Ryde Fire Station, who worked in liaison with the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service and Isle of Wight Police.
The road was blocked for a while but is now clear.
It follows an earlier crash in Binstead this morning.
