Woman dies following two-vehicle collision on A361
A woman in her twenties has died following a collision between a truck and a car on the A361, Frome Road in Southwick. Emergency services were called shortly after 11am on Monday, January 10 to the crash which involved a blue Citroen C3 and a white tipper truck. A passenger in the same vehicle, a man also in his twenties, was taken to Southmead Hospital in Bristol with serious injuries, where he remains.

Trowbridge Police said: “The driver of the car, a woman in her twenties, sadly died at the scene. Her family have been informed and our thoughts are with them at this very difficult time. “The road was closed for around ten hours to allow collision investigation work to be carried out and reopened at around 9pm last night.
“We would ask any witnesses, or anyone who saw either vehicle shortly before the collision, to call Wiltshire Police’s Collision Investigation Unit on 101, quoting log 76 of yesterday (10/01).”
