Four injured – one seriously- after HGV and Nissan collide on motorway
Four people were left injured - one seriously- in a collision involving a lorry on the M42. A red HGV ploughed into a black Nissan X Trail, which was parked on the hard shoulder of the northbound carriageway, between junctions eight, for Water Orton and nine, for Sutton Coldfield, at around midnight on Thursday, April 28. Those hurt were taken to hospital. The lorry driver was checked at the scene by paramedics and released.
Collision investigators asked anyone who saw the crash or had dashcam footage to contact them urgently. : Baby boy rushed to hospital after fall from upstairs window in Handsworth Warwickshire Polic e said: "We're appealing for witnesses after a collision on the northbound carriageway of the M42.
It happened between junctions 8 and 9 shortly before midnight on Thursday (28 April). "A red HGV was in collision with a black Nissan X Trail, which was stationary on the hard shoulder. Four people were taken to hospital - one with serious injuries - while the driver of the HGV was assessed at the scene by paramedics but subsequently released."
