£100,000 worth of machinery stolen from Lincolnshire site

Lincolnshire Police has issued a warning following the robbery of four diggers from a site in the county. Three mini Bobcat diggers and one 3.5 tonne Kubota digger were stolen from the Boundary Lane area, in South Hykeham, at some point between 10.30pm on June 8 and 2.20am on June 9. Police are appealing for information on the incident and say that trailers and a number of tools were also reported to have been stolen.

Entry to the site appears to have been gained by force. One of the trailers stolen has already been recovered by officers in the Thorpe on the Hill area this morning. The machinery and tools have an estimated value of around GBP100,000 collectively.
