Lorry crashes into bungalow as police appeal launched

A lorry has crashed into a bungalow along one of Lincolnshire’s roads. Lincolnshire Police has launched an appeal for witnesses of the incident, where a lorry, travelling from Skegness in the direction of Mablethorpe, came off the road. The appeal has been launched over the weekend (June 12) for the incident which occurred at around 5am on June 5. The bungalow suffered significant damage, but thankfully no injuries were reported.

A spokesman for Lincolnshire Police said: “A white Iveco lorry collided with a detached bungalow at the junction of Cumberworth Lane and the A52, at 5am on Sunday, June 5.” The incident occurred in Mumby, near Alford. Its statement says they are “keen for anyone who has dashcam footage of either the collision, or movements of vehicles beforehand” to get in touch.
