Quad bike rider ‘taking child to school on back went wrong way around island’
A quad bike rider was spotted by cops “taking a child to school on the back” while speeding and steering the wrong way around an island. Police tweeted about the incident, which happened in Staffordshire, and shared a photo online of the quad bike. The rider was reported by the cops and the bike seized.
The operation was part of Child Safety Week. Staffs Police Road Policing Unit tweeted saying: “To start the shift for #ChildSafetyWeek, this quad bike was seen taking its child pillion passenger to school in @PoliceStafford over the speed limit and amazingly going the wrong way around a roundabout.
