Vehicle flips onto roof in early hours smash

Paramedics and firefighters were called to a vehicle after it flipped onto its roof in Church Stretton. The crash happened in Acton Scott at about 0.45am yesterday, June 3. A woman had managed to get out of the vehicle and was assessed by paramedics.

Firefighters made the vehicle safe and helped the ambulance service at the scene. A statement on Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service’s incident log says: “At 00:47 on Friday, 3 June, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a road traffic collision had taken place in Church Stretton. One fire appliance was mobilised from Church Stretton.
