Edinburgh city centre bar to permanently host Scottish ‘vegan junk food’ pop-up

A popular Scottish vegan ‘junk food’ pop-up are set to takeover an Edinburgh city centre bar’s kitchen permanently, as they took to social media to confirm the exciting news. Rabbit Food said they will soon be arriving at the Meadows Tap, on Causewayside, to deliver their vegan specialities such as burgers, dirty fries and desserts. Rabbit Food have made a name for themselves while popping up at several Scottish restaurants, including those in Edinburgh and Glasgow, but announced that they have finally found a destination to call their home.

“We will be open from August 3rd and we’ll be serving Wed-Fri 4-9pm Sat-Sun 12-9pm.

“We are working on a bigger menu and we can’t wait to start this new chapter of the business! Thank you all for your support!” With the Meadows Tap located slap bang in the city centre and serving up food, cocktails and a variety of craft beers, they are set to add a new dimension to their menu.

They too confirmed the upcoming partnership, saying: “Please note that our kitchen is closed, we’ll be returning with a new exciting menu and collab soon with Rabbit Food… watch this space.”
