Rail strike brings widespread disruption to Lincolnshire stations

Another major rail strike today is bringing widespread disruption to Lincolnshire as 40,000 RMT union members walk out once again in a bitter dispute of pay, jobs and conditions. Reduced services are being seen nationwide due to industrial action. A number of Lincolnshire’s train stations are completely closed, with just a few offering limited services.

Rail commuters have been urged to check the amended timetables before travelling. Commuters are also being warned to expect disruption early on Thursday, due to staff not being at work overnight. Workers at 14 rail providers are striking today.
