Hooters under fire for sponsoring under-10s boys football team

Hooters is under fire - for sponsoring an under-10s football team. The chain of sports bars has just one restaurant in the UK, based in Nottingham, in the Midlands. Now, it will sponsor Burton Joyce's Under-10 team for their forthcoming youth football season.

An announcement read: "Hooters Nottingham are proud to be the new sponsors of Burton Joyce U10s. We wish you all the luck this season boys. Go smash it."

And another said: "These lads are under 10. I very much doubt they are aware of the sexual attraction of woman. Wrong on so many levels." A third added: "Could've gone [with a] more appropriate age range."

One more supporter wrote: "Sunday morning just got more exciting and it's not for the chicken wings." Meanwhile, another added: "Nice one Burton Joyce you've done me proud lol." One more fan also joked: "Keep your eyes on the ball lads." Another added: "I'm guessing ALL the dads showed up for this match."
