Keyo places second DAF XG order

August was a fairly quiet month for DAF Trucks in terms of fleet announcements, with just one story published. Lincolnshire-based agricultural haulier Keyo took delivery of two DAF XG 530 FTG tractors back in July, and the company ordered two more in August to transport plant machinery for farming and food production customers. Josh Van Den Bos, a manager at Keyo, explained the company's decision. "We needed a large, modern and comfortable truck, with the best possible fuel economy and the latest driver aids to allow for optimum productivity for what is, at times, a very challenging operation.

"The new XG truly has it all. We easily cover 70,000km per year in each wagon, and the new DAFs provide a great working environment for our drivers. The cab size is exceptional, as are the internal and external technology features."

Keyo has wrapped its DAFs in a special vinyl livery, with reflective properties to make the vehicles more visible at night.
