Police launch scheme to help prevent horse equipment thefts in Whitchurch

A HORSE tack marking event will be held by police near Whitchurch next month. The event on Sunday, October 2 will give attendees the chance to have saddles, bridles and other equipment marked to help make them less appealing to thieves and help with their return if they are stolen and recovered. North Shropshire Safer Neighbourhoods Team (SNT) said the event will be led by PSCO Graeme Baines and appeals were made for horse riders to attend.

Calling all horse riders in the Whitchurch area.

PCSO Baines will be holding a tack marking event on Sunday 2nd October 2022 from 2pm to 4pm, or a bit later if there is demand, at Midway Truckstop car park. Come along and get your tack marked for added security.
